About GILDEX
The McCabe family has bought and sold jewellery in Adelaide since the 1930s. Across four generations, that experience has included estate jewellery, vintage pieces, watches, diamonds, and the secondary jewellery market.
Gildex was created to offer a more modern and professional jewellery selling experience.
We purchase gold & silver jewellery, watches, diamonds, vintage and antique pieces through private appointments, secure Australia-wide mail-in and in-person buying roadshows.
Every item is professionally assessed using generations of jewellery buying expertise, modern testing technology, and current market knowledge — allowing us to make immediate offers and quick payments.
Some clients are selling a single piece. Others are managing estates, inherited collections, or luxury items they no longer wear.
Our role is to make the process professional, straightforward, and a nice experience from start to finish.
